FLAME BRAZING
FLAME BRAZING
Due to the relatively low equipment cost and the simplicity of the process, flame brazing is commonly used within the scope of brazing automation. Usually an oxy-propane or oxy-acetylane flame is used as the heat source. Within the scope of mass production solutions with roller tables, rotating tables or trolley feeders are used. See below for example uses of automation in brazing:
BRAZING ALUMINIUM HEAT EXCHANGERS
BRAZING COPPER HEAT EXCHANGERS
BRAZING ALUMINIUM AIR CONDITIONING COMPONENTS
BRAZING TOWEL WARMERS
BRAZING FURNITURE FRAME COMPONENTS
BRAZING BICYCLE FRAMES
BRAZING HEATERS AND HEATING ELEMENTS
BRAZING SOLAR PANELS
The degree to which the brazing process is automated depends on factors such as:
- size and shape of brazed elements
- joint access
- production output
- work required for the servicing brazed joints
- form of brazing filler metal used
